There are two amazing RCV bills with momentum before the General Assembly right now! But we need your help to get them over the line. S152 and H5726 would both implement ranked choice voting for presidential primaries, starting in 2028. Here's what you can do in just a few minutes to make a real impact:
- Call and/or email Senate President Lawson and House Speaker Shekarchi to urge them to bring the bills up for a vote this year! This guide has all the information you need.
- Find out who your own legislators are, look up their contact information (senators here; representatives here), and then use the same scripts to encourage them to put pressure on the leadership to bring the bills up for votes!
- Ready to take it to the next level? Join us on Zoom for phonebanks on Wednesday, May 21st, and Wednesday, May 28th, at 7 PM, to help us talk to our supporters and encourage them to call the legislative leaders!
