The protests popping up across the country are excellent opportunities for us to reach voters who are fed up with how politics is going. At a rally last weekend, our friends at Voter Choice Arizona signed up over 1,200 supporters in just one day!

We’ve decided to skip the Farm Fresh Market Saturday (April 5) and focus on the Providence protest. The event starts at Hope High School at noon. Please arrive at 11:30 and meet us at the tennis courts so we can talk to protesters as they’re making their way in. Wear your Ocean State RCV shirt if you have one (if you’ve got multiple, go for the blue and gold!) — if not, we’ll have extras for you.

The rally will consist of a brief march from Hope High to Kennedy Plaza (just over a mile, or about a 20-25 minute walk). We’ll walk alongside protesters and chat as they walk. Then, there will be speeches on Kennedy Plaza — we’ll hang around there and chat with attendees between speeches and after the event wraps up. If you’re unable to walk, please plan on meeting us on Kennedy Plaza around 12:30!
